» Personal Training for Individuals

» Half Day Boot Camp (4 hours)

Whether you're new to exercise and want a kick start or are bored with the gym and for a change want to take your training outdoors Get Fit Half Day Boot Camps could be just what you are looking for.

They last for 4 hours and cater for all ages and abilities as everyone can work at their own pace.

The venue is Sutherland Memorial Park, Burpham, Guildford (just of the A3 motorway). For directions please click here (opposite Sainsbury's GU4 7JU).

The afternoon will consist of 4 different exercise periods lasting 45-50 minutes so you get some rest and recovery time before the next one starts. Example timings:

  • 10am - Meet at the venue / administration time
  • 10.15am - Run / brisk walk around the River Wey in Guildford (water supplied)
  • 11.15am - Circuit training / boot camp session (squats, lunges, press-ups, sit-ups, tricep-dips etc)
  • 12.15pm - Teamwork / game based exercise (tug of war, boxing, relay races etc)
  • 1pm - Snack / refreshments time (isotonic energy drink / orange juice and a selection of fruit supplied)
  • 1.15pm - Core conditioning, long cool down and stretch session / depart at 2pm

Payment
All payments are due at least 5 days in advance to secure your place and are non-refundable.

» Nutrition Advice Plan

Having done a Sports Science degree, which included an exercise physiology and nutrition module I know how important a well-balanced, structured and nutritious diet is for helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. The difference between finishing first and second in a race can come down to how successful and beneficial the athlete's diet is.

I can cater for all types of diets. A nutrition advice plan can last for 4-8 weeks depending on what your goals are. As with exercise it is important to add variety to your diet as your body will become accustomed to the same food groups and meals after a while and it will need to be changed to help further improvements and progression.

I will provide a food diary for you, which will need to be filled out for 1 week and returned to me. I will then design and provide you with your individualised nutrition advice plan.

» Pre Wedding Fitness

Exercise helps to reduce stress, make you sleep better, increase your metabolism to burn off calories and tone your muscles helping you to look great in your wedding dress or morning suit.

It will also give you more energy so that you enjoy the day and your honeymoon to the maximum.

My wife Claire and I got married in Guildford 24 April 2009 and therefore I know how time consuming, expensive and stressful it can be.

Pre wedding clients (individuals and pairs) who purchase a 6 or 12 sessions package will receive a 25% discount on nutrition advice plans, training programmes, 45 minute and Half Day Get Fit Boot Camps up to the date of your wedding.

All sessions have to be used before the wedding day.

» Training Programmes

Contact me for a quote or further information, as every individualised training programme will require different arrangements regarding time allocation and meeting arrangements. An estimated price would be £40-£50 per programme.

» Gift Voucher

I can provide a gift voucher for an original gift for special occasions.

121exercise vouchers can be purchased for any amount and can be redeemable against any of the services I offer.

The laminated voucher is 13.5cm wide and 9.5cm high, which will fit into most standard size envelopes.

The person receiving the gift voucher hands it back to me at the first training session.

» Terms and Conditions

Commitment

I am 100% committed to helping you achieve your goals and ask for the same level of commitment from you. This will ensure that for your time, effort and money you get the results you want.

In order to achieve these goals clients who receive a discount for block purchasing must be prepared to train with me at least 6 or 12 times in a 10 week period from your first full session.

All personal training sessions last 50 minutes and outdoor sessions take place during any weather.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of it becoming necessary for a client to cancel or postpone an appointment, every effort will be made to re-schedule the session at no extra cost provided that at least 24 hours notice is given.

For cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, the full fee will be payable.

Timekeeping Policy

If the client is late for the session the session will only run for the remaining amount of the booked appointment time.

However, should I arrive late, then with the client's agreement the time will be added onto that session (providing it does not conflict with my other appointments) or onto a future session.

Locations

Locations not listed / highlighted on my 'Locations' page will be subject to a surcharge, to cover extra travel time and petrol costs.

Payment and Refunds Policy

All payments are due in advance and are non-negotiable.

I accept cash, cheque, direct bank transfer, invoice or PayPal (please note an additional 3.5% will be charged if paying via PayPal). After payment a receipt will be issued.

All payments are non-refundable and expire after 10 weeks.
