House calls are very convenient and save you expensive gym fees and membership hassle etc. You also don't have to worry about travelling anywhere or what time you will get home and afterwards you can just jump in the shower and it's done. The following sessions can take place in your garden, garage, driveway or home.
Boxing/Kickboxing Exercise
- Boxing/Kickboxing is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today, toning and shaping your entire body
- Energetic, fun and addictive sessions that will enhance sport specific senses including hand, foot and eye co-ordination, balance and timing
- Good for building confidence and developing basic self defence skills
- 1 hour burns around 670 calories (in a 10 stone woman) and 960 calories (in a 14 stone man)

Step Aerobics
- Step Aerobics will increase your endurance, tone and shape your entire body
- Step Aerobics includes classic moves that will redefine your arms, legs, hips, buttocks, stomach and thighs
- We can put on some music that inspires you and let the good vibe take you through
- 1 hour burns around 510 calories (in a 10 stone woman) and 740 calories (in a 14 stone man)
Circuits
- Circuit Training will improve your all round fitness and tone and shape your entire body
- Circuit Training will push you to your limits in a challenging and safe environment testing your determination and commitment
- Can use no equipment but your body - however some equipment can help to train certain muscles more specifically - local features such as garden steps/bench, scaffolding or a garage beam can also be used
- 1 hour burns around 530 calories (in a 10 stone woman) and 765 calories (in a 14 stone man)
Swiss Ball Classes
The thing about Swiss style exercise balls is that they are very unstable. When you sit on one, especially for the first time, and you might wobble like a jelly. That’s why exercise balls are so effective when it comes to core strength and more athletes are using them.
Your body will respond naturally and automatically to this instability, working to keep you from falling off. With regular Swiss ball exercise, back and abdominal muscles used to keep you balanced become stronger.
I can demonstrate modern and up to date exercises so that you can get an efficient full-body workout using just the exercise ball and your body weight. You can then progress to using dumbbells, which can increase your strength further.
Equipment
I can bring basic equipment to your house including exercise mat, Swiss ball, step box,
skipping rope and dumbbells. For my house visits I would recommend my clients purchase some basic equipment such as mentioned above (can be brought for good prices from places such as Argos and Sports World). This can save some setting up and clearing away time for the session and I find it gives clients a little more motivation to train and attend sessions when they have brought equipment and have it in their homes waiting to be used.
‘Your Home Gym’
- I will ensure that you are using your resistance machines, free weights, cable machines, free exercises, Swiss ball, stability board and stretches correctly and safely to help improve your posture and decrease the risk of injury
- I can help you increase the level of one of your set programme workouts or introduce new exercises or techniques to keep your workouts fresh
- I can carry out many forms of physical tests so you can monitor your progression and set yourself ongoing goals
- I can give you useful tips on diet and lifestyle during your workouts or can arrange to design more in depth nutrition guides if required
- I will help you to train harder and longer then you could by yourself to optimise your time and reach your goals
I can also mix and match outdoor and home personal training. For example I can meet you at your house and go for a local jog, walk or cycle then finish off with some boxing or kickboxing one to one exercise at your house or body toning using Swiss ball and dumbbells etc.
