My partner found Rob on Google Maps. Three months previously I had my second child and was desperate to get back into shape but lacked the motivation to do so.

I see Rob twice a week, we train in the gym in our house, the garden and in nearby fields. The sessions are always varied and Rob takes into account all post natal needs and requirements in regards to what I can and can’t do. The fact that Rob turns up at the house means there is no excuse for me.

My goals are to lose a little weight and to tone, as well as to feel fitter and healthier. One month in and I can already start to see the benefits.

Having a personal trainer works well for me, Rob is very flexible in when we train as child care has to be covered and we often do back to back sessions with my partner. On the odd occasion, the baby even joins us!

I train with Rob 3 times a week. We train indoors and outdoors where we use things like logs, benches, and stiles to do exercises. We jog to and from the park which has outdoor exercise equipment such as chin-up and dip bars and we always do some kickboxing, which is good for stress release. In our home gym we use the weights and a gym ball.

I used to train with a personal trainer in a gym but found that I was going too often. I find it much more convenient as Rob comes to our house and it saves me time, which I can spend with my family.

Rob encourages me to get up and train as some of our sessions are at 6.30am, he works around my work schedule and is very flexible. I enjoy the sessions and am noticing an improvement in my all round fitness.
